The Trigger Limit feature allows you to control how often the bot replies when users send the same keyword repeatedly. This helps to prevent spammy or unwanted responses.
✅ You can use Trigger Limit in:
Chatbot
💡 Use Case:
To avoid the bot from repeating the same reply if a user keeps sending the same keyword like price.
Example:
If a user sends the word price
5 times quickly, the bot will only respond the first time.
Step 1. Enable Trigger Limit
Go to the Trigger Limit section and select Enable.
Then, set the following:
- Trigger : How many times the action can be triggered
- Time : The duration for the limit
- Unit : The unit of time (minutes, hours, or days)
Example:
If you set:
- Trigger: 1
- Time: 1
- Unit: minutes
➡️ The chatbot will only respond once per minute per user even if the user sends the same keyword multiple times.
📌 Result:
After enabling the trigger limit, the bot will reply once, and only send the next reply after the set duration has passed.
This keeps your automation clean and prevents reply flooding.
